ANAE - Académie Nationale de l'Air et de l'Espace Born in 1983, this association based in Toulouse was created 200 years after the 1st human air flight aboard a balloon by Pilâtre de Rozier and the Marquis d'Arlandes. You can access online their past conferences HERE.
AAAF - Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France Born in 1971, this important French association, assembling professionals and amateurs, organises international colloquia. It also has several regional chapters.
GIFAS - Le Groupement des Industries Françaises Aéronautiques et Spatiales Proud heir to the association created in 1908 by the aviation pioneers Louis Blériot, Louis Bréguet, Gabriel Voisin and Robert Esnault-Pelterie, GIFAS - the French aerospace industries association - has more than 240 members, from major prime contractors and system suppliers to small specialist companies.
ASD - AeroSpace and Defense Industries Association of Europe As a large European industry association, ASD represents 32 associations in 20 countries across Europe, with more than 800 companies in its membership, which directly employ nearly 600,000 highly-qualified people, representing a turnover of around 100 billion Euro per year. The EUROSPACE association is the space subsidiary of ASD.

BELGIUM Belgian ISU-Alumni Association (IBAA) The idea to establish the IBAA came at the SSP in Pomona, California (2003).
EUROPE Europe Alumni Association (EAA) Norbert Frischauf (SSP'97) is the current president of EAA
CANADA Canadian Alumni Association (CAISU) Talmon Feuerstein (SSP'02, MSS'03) is the current president of CAISU
USA ISU-USA Alumni Organization (ISU*USA) Regina North (SSP'88) is the current president of the ISU*USA
ASIA ISU-ASIA Alumni Organisation Hiroyasu Mizuno (SSP'98) is the ISU-Asia association delegate. He recently helped organise the ISU Board of Trustes (BOT) alumni representative election in Asia (turning regional seat). Tatsuhito Fujita (MSS'01) was elected and will represent the interests of ISU Alumni for two years (2005-07), attending in particular the ISU BOT meetings twice a year. Congratulations!
JAPAN The Japanese alumni association (JASI) Yamanaka Tsutomu (SSP'04) is JASI's president. JASI regroups approximately 180 Japanese alumni. The association's mission is to maximize the Japanese students' opportunities to join the ISU, by providing them with scholarship and advice. JASI also originally established the ISU-ASIA network to connect alumni in Asia and Pacific area (see above).
AUSTRALIA Australian Alumni Association (AAA) The Australian alumni association was created during the SSP'04 taking place in Adelaide, to link the Australian space community, which counts now more than 50 ISU alumni! This association is in the process of setting up a website.
